100 Pruta – State of Israel, 1952 P-12b - Legal tender paper note of 100 Pruta, issued by the State of Israel in 1952, as part of the low-denomination paper currency series introduced in order to conserve metal during the austerity period. The note is printed in three languages: Hebrew, English, and Arabic. Variant: Pick P-12b Series: B Series code: 0104/B Serial number: 283791 Design and colors: Front in green tones with a dark blue ornamental frame and a central medallion bearing the value 100, with intricate geometric security patterns. Back in matching light green, featuring a central 100 medallion and characteristic fibrous paper typical of the period. Physical Condition – Current Evaluation The note is in UNC- (Uncirculated minus) condition. Thick, firm, and healthy paper, free of folds, creases, or circulation wear. Margins are intact, corners sharp, with strong color saturation and crisp, well-defined printing. A tiny spot along the right margin is present and appears to be original printing ink from the production process, rather than a later stain or handling flaw. Overall, a clean and fresh example retaining the original paper feel of a note that has not circulated.
