The Jewish Brigade – Postcards and Letters, Yehuda Krinitzi, Italy and Western Europe, 1944–1945 - A group comprising 9 postcards and two handwritten letters, sent by Yehuda (Y.) Krinitzi, a soldier in the Jewish Brigade (The Palestine Regiment, C.M.F), son of Ramat Gan’s mayor Avraham Krinitzi. The items were sent during his military service in 1944–1945, mostly from Italy (Venice, Rome and others), as well as from additional locations across Western Europe, to his family in Eretz Israel – his sister and his niece Naomi. Most items bear a clear handwritten military identification: Pte Y. Krinitzi, PAL/17074, S.D. Coy I (Jewish) Bn, The Palestine Regiment, C.M.F Condition: Overall fair to good condition. Signs of age and use, stains, creases and minor wear, as expected for postal items of the period. Some sheets loose.
