Silver Shabbat Bread Folding Knife, Sterling Silver, Israel, 1950s - A decorative folding knife featuring the inscription “Shabbat Kodesh”, with embossed panels representing the Twelve Tribes of Israel. At the center appears a menorah above a depiction of a Shabbat challah, while the ends of the handle show the Tower of David and Jerusalem. The handle is made of sterling silver (marked: Sterling 925, Made in Israel), and the blade is stainless steel (marked: Stainless Steel). Such pieces are characteristic of early Israeli Judaica from the 1950s, often produced for the tourist market.
