One of the theatre’s early productions, directed by Moshe Halevi, after Herman Heijermans (translation: Avraham Shlonsky; set design: Israel Paldi, in a cubist style with a distinctive three-dimensional stage design). “Jeremiah” (1929) – by Stefan Zweig, directed by Moshe Halevi. “The Good Soldier Švejk” (1935) – 12 pages. By Jaroslav Hašek, directed by Friedrich Lobe; a key production that became a staple of the theatre’s repertoire and helped sustain it financially. The programs include original covers, cast lists, production credits, and period advertisements.
