Handwritten Calligraphic Notebook – “JECHESKEL” (Ezekiel), Germany, 1926 - A handwritten notebook comprising 6 pages of carefully executed German calligraphy under the title “JECHESKEL” (Ezekiel). The text is an adaptation/translation of Ezekiel Chapter 37 – the Vision of the Dry Bones. Written in neat, consistent black ink, the work reflects advanced calligraphic practice or a particularly refined student project. Signed at the end: “Eva. 1926.” alongside a Hebrew dedication reading: “To my teacher”. The notebook is bound in a decorative dark textile cover with red thread ornamentation and a matching ribbon marker – a handcrafted binding typical of personal or school projects of the period. Likely a student work created in an educational setting, possibly within a German-speaking Jewish environment, suggested by the combination of Biblical text, German language, and Hebrew inscription. 6 handwritten pages. Page size: 19 × 15 cm. Very good condition, minor age-related stains.
