Bidspirit auction | Large Lot of Israeli Telephone

Large Lot of Israeli Telephone Tokens – Ministry of Communications – Approx. 100 Tokens - Large lot of Israeli public telephone tokens issued by the Ministry of Communications, struck in a brass toned metal alloy with the characteristic central hole used in Israeli public phone tokens. The tokens were discovered inside a bag wrapped in multiple layers of adhesive tape, and appear to have seen little to no circulation. Condition is generally uniform and clean, with attractive original luster. Total weight: 507 grams. Individual token weight: approx. 5–5.2 grams. Based on the total weight, the lot likely represents an original bundle of approximately 100 tokens. Interesting piece of Israeli telecommunications and Israeliana history from the era of public telephones and tokens. Please view the photos for condition and overall impression.
