These medals were issued in limited quantities and were not offered for public sale. “Chief of Staff Gift” Medal, 1987 – Lieutenant General Moshe Levi Silver 935, 37 mm, 26 grams. Obverse: IDF emblem with the Hebrew letters ל״ט marking 39 years of the State of Israel, alongside the inscription “From the IDF with Love” and the facsimile signature of Chief of Staff Moshe Levi. Reverse: Panorama of Jerusalem with the inscription: “20 Years to the Reunification of Jerusalem 1967–1987”. Designers: Ruth Lubin and Yaakov Zim. Mintage: 2,410 pieces. Includes the original presentation case and numbered certificate card. “Chief of Staff Gift” Medal, 1988 – Lieutenant General Dan Shomron Silver 935, 37 mm, 26 grams. Issued to commemorate 40 years of the State of Israel. Obverse: IDF emblem, the inscription “From the IDF with Love”, the name of Chief of Staff Dan Shomron, and the official 40th anniversary emblem of the State of Israel.
