Iran – Pair of 100 Rials Banknotes, Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi, 1951–1954 - Pair of Iranian circulation banknotes in the 100 Rials denomination, issued by Bank Melli Iran during the reign of Mohammad Reza Shah Pahlavi. The lot includes two different portrait types of the Shah: • 100 Rials banknote – 3rd portrait type of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, dated Persian years 1330–1332 (1951–1953). Reverse depicting an industrial refinery scene. • 100 Rials banknote – 4th portrait type of Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, dated Persian year 1333 (1954). Reverse depicting an ancient Persian relief-inspired scene.
