Five Replica Coins Based on Great Jewish Revolt Shekels - Five modern replicas of Jewish coins from the Great Revolt against Rome, 66–70 CE, featuring varied metallic tones and patinas. The design is based on silver shekels from the revolt: one side depicts a ritual cup, the year of the revolt and the inscription “Shekel of Israel” in Paleo-Hebrew script; the reverse features a branch bearing three pomegranates and the inscription “Jerusalem the Holy.” One replica is clearly marked COPY, confirming its modern manufacture. The pieces differ in design, finish and quality of striking. Diameter of each replica: approximately 2.5 cm.
