Temple Beth Sholom of Smithtown Commemorative Medal, New York - A cast bronze-tone metal medal depicting the building of Temple Beth Sholom of Smithtown, Long Island, New York, in relief. The inscription “TEMPLE BETH SHOLOM OF SMITHTOWN” appears around the building. The reverse is undecorated, with closely spaced concentric grooves. The Conservative Jewish congregation was founded in 1956. This was probably produced as a congregational souvenir during the second half of the 20th century. Rough cast finish with patina, wear and minor casting imperfections. Diameter: 40 mm.
