Persian Iranian Shiite Amulet – Nad-e Ali Prayer and Allah - A small amuletic pendant, apparently made of brass and probably of Persian Iranian origin. One side bears an Arabic inscription, apparently a version of the Shiite Nad-e Ali prayer, invoking Ali for assistance and protection. The reverse features the word “Allah” in large Arabic calligraphy, surrounded by a geometric border. Traces of red paint remain within the recessed decoration. Integral suspension loop at the top. Diameter: 1.9 cm. Weight: 1.33 g. Wear, surface rubbing and paint loss consistent with age and use.
