Argentina Jewish Colonization 75th Anniversary Medal – Moisés Ville, 1889–1964 - An Argentine commemorative medal issued in 1964 to mark the 75th anniversary of Jewish colonization in Argentina and the founding of Moisés Ville in Santa Fe Province. The obverse features a relief scene of a farmer plowing a field with a plow drawn by two oxen, against a background of radiating sun rays. Inscribed S. CHOMSKI below the scene, with the small engraver’s signature O. GALLO, referring to Argentine medalist Olinto Gallo. The reverse bears the Spanish inscription: COLONIZACIÓN JUDÍA EN LA REPÚBLICA ARGENTINA – 75° ANIVERSARIO – 1889–1964 – BODAS DE DIAMANTE – FUNDACIÓN DE MOISÉS VILLE (STA. FE) Alpaca, a silver-colored metal alloy. Integral suspension loop. Diameter: approximately 30 mm, excluding the loop. Age-related wear, scratches and surface marks.
