Palestine – Kfar HaYishuv – Group of 15 Half-Mil Payment Tokens, 1939 – British Mandate Period - A group of 15 local tokens issued by “Kfar HaYishuv” in Eretz Israel during the British Mandate period. Dated 5699/1939 and valued at half a mil each, they were intended for internal circulation as a practical substitute for low-denomination coins. The obverse bears a stylized shield surrounded by the Hebrew inscription “Kfar HaYishuv, ” together with the denomination “Half Mil” and the Hebrew year 5699. The reverse is plain and unstruck. The group also includes a lapel pin commemorating the tenth anniversary of the State of Israel, featuring a menorah and the Hebrew word “Israel.” The rear fastening is missing, and traces of solder are visible on the reverse. Condition varies among the tokens, with wear, stains, toning, and signs of age and use. Please examine the photographs for condition and self-grading.
