5 Israel Post Public Telephone Tokens – Rare Copper-Colored Variant - A lot of 5 Israeli public telephone tokens issued by Israel Post. The obverse features the Israel Post stag emblem, the word “Telephone” in Hebrew and Arabic, and a central hole. The reverse depicts a rotary telephone dial numbered 0–9, together with the Hebrew inscription “Israel Post.” The tokens display an unusual copper-bronze color, differing from the standard appearance of this type. To the best of our knowledge, this is a rare variant. However, the metal has not been tested, and we cannot determine with certainty whether the color results from a different alloy, the manufacturing process, or later surface alteration. Used condition, with patina, wear, stains and signs of handling. Please examine the photographs for condition and grade.
