It represents every year in which the 50 Mils denomination was issued, with the sole exception of the first year of issue, 1927. One side depicts a stylized olive branch surrounded by the name of the country in three languages: PALESTINE, פלשתינה (א״י), and فلسطين. The year appears below in Western and Arabic numerals. The other side displays the denomination in Arabic, English, and Hebrew: خمسون مل, FIFTY MILS, and חמישים מיל, together with the numeral 50.
