Afghan Turkmen 925 Silver Amulet Pendant Set with Carnelian – Second Half of the 20th Century - An ethnic amulet pendant, probably Afghan or associated with the Turkmen jewelry tradition, made of silver and stamped 925. The front is decorated with engraved and repoussé-style vegetal patterns and symmetrical animal figures, set with a polished natural reddish-orange stone, probably carnelian. The reverse bears a symmetrical vegetal-geometric engraving resembling the Central Asian ram’s-horn motif, traditionally associated with strength, prosperity, and protection. Dimensions excluding suspension loop: 4.5 × 3.5 cm. Weight: 28.8 g. Please examine the photographs for condition.
