Miniature 930 Silver Tray – Doubar Ltd, London 1990 - A small rectangular tray made of 930-grade silver, richly decorated in relief. The centre depicts a European pastoral scene with children, birds, animals, trees and buildings. The raised border is ornamented with elaborate foliage, flowers and Rococo-style scrollwork. Marked 930, together with British hallmarks: DB for Doubar Ltd, lion passant confirming sterling standard or higher, London leopard’s head and date letter q for 1990. The tray was probably manufactured in Continental Europe in 930-grade silver, imported into Britain by Doubar Ltd and subsequently assayed in London. Dimensions: 9×8 cm. Weight: 37.1 g. Signs of use, scratches, patina and tarnishing. Please examine the photographs for condition.
