Sterling Silver Vesta Case with Personal Inscription – Chester, circa 1901 - English sterling silver vesta case with a hinged lid, suspension loop and ribbed striker along the base. The front is engraved “From Eunice & Arthur.” Marked T & S for E. J. Trevitt & Sons, together with sterling silver and Chester assay marks. The worn date letter appears to be A, corresponding to 1901; the exact year cannot be confirmed from the photograph. Dimensions: 4.5 × 2 cm. Weight: 13.25 g. Scratches, signs of use, minor edge wear and a gold toned interior to the lid. Please examine the photographs for condition.
