Engraved Silver Cuff Bracelet, Berber Style, Probably Tunisia, First Half of the 20th Century - Open silver cuff bracelet featuring a prominent central ridge engraved with leaf-like motifs, bordered by bands of diagonal crosshatching. The flattened, rounded terminals display geometric and stylized foliate decoration. Traditional North African design, probably Tunisian. No hallmark found; acid tested as silver. Exact silver fineness is unknown. Diameter approximately 6.5 cm; width approximately 2.5 cm. Weight: 50.04 grams. Signs of use, scratches, wear to the engraving and dark patina, particularly on the interior. Origin and period are attributed on stylistic grounds only and are not guaranteed.
