Silver Ring with Presumed Carnelian, Artistic Design, 20th Century - Tested silver ring in an organic design with ethnic influences. Set with an oval, high-domed orange-red cabochon, presumed to be carnelian. The setting features undulating, petal-like edges above a band of raised scroll motifs. Internal fracture lines are visible in the stone and appear natural. Probably second half of the 20th century; dating is not guaranteed. Total weight: 17.3 g. Size: approximately US 9.5 (marked 9– on the ring mandrel, between 9 and 10). Signs of wear and patina. Please examine the photographs.
