5 Coins of 25 Mils, 1949 – Aluminum – Israel - A group of 5 circulation coins with a denomination of 25 mils, issued by the State of Israel in 1949 (Hebrew year 5709). Obverse: The denomination “25 mils” in Hebrew and Arabic and the Hebrew date, surrounded by olive branches. Reverse: A bunch of grapes in the center, with “Israel” in Hebrew and Arabic. Composition: 97% aluminum, 3% magnesium. Diameter of each coin: 30 mm. Standard weight: 3.8 grams per coin. The coins are in varying conditions, with signs of circulation, wear to the raised details, scratches, stains and discoloration.
