Péter Borkovics, Glasses set - Dimensions: 4 x 4 x 9 cm Peter Borkovics Graduate of the Art High School in Budapest, 1990. Diploma at the University of Art and Design. Moholy-Nagy (MOME) in Budapest, 1996. Doctoral studies at the University of Art and Design. Moholy-Nagy (MOME), in Budapest, 2001-2003. Since 1997, he has been teaching in the glass studio at the Art High School in Budapest. Scholarships: Laszlo Moholy-Nagy, 1994; Lajos Kozma, 1998; Erasmus at the Polytechnic University of Milan, Italy, 2002. Numerous awards and distinctions, including: 1st prize in the Artemis lamp design competition, organized by the VAM Gallery, Budapest, 1993. 2nd prize, Artrevue 93, Budapest; Award of the Minister of Culture and Education for a glass with a finger in the Hungarian Design Competition, Hungary, 2002; award named after Noemi Ferenczy, Hungary, 2004. Participation in over 60 domestic and foreign exhibitions. Works in museum collections, including: in the Museum of Applied Art in Budapest, in the Bárdudvarnok Glass Collection (Mária Goszthony Foundation), in the Rippl-Rónai Museum, in Kaposvar and in the Hungarian National Museum in Budapest.
