Mirosław Kociński - Mosaic 90x70cm - material: porcelain Mirosław Kociński Diploma at the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass at the State Higher School of Fine Arts (currently the E. Geppert Academy of Fine Arts) in Wrocław, 1985. Since 1988, he has been employed at his alma mater, especially at the Faculty of Painting and Sculpture, and since 1996 at the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass. Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Ceramics and Glass, Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, 2002 – 2005; dean of this faculty 2008 - 2012. In 2014, he received the title of professor. Numerous awards and distinctions, including: 1st prize at the 3rd International Ceramics Biennial, Zarautz, Spain, 1996; honorary protection in the 9th Mino International Ceramics Competition (9th Mino International Ceramics Competition, Japan), Mino, Japan, 2011; honorary badge ”Merit for Polish Culture”, awarded by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, 2012.
