Marta Gibiete - Cactus lamp - material Glass size 48 x 20 x 20 cm Marta Gibiete Diploma in Art Glass at the Faculty of Visual Arts of the Latvian Academy of Fine Arts in Riga, Latvia, 2005. In the years 2002–2013, she received numerous scholarships and grants for the implementation of artistic projects and awards, including: Award of the Glass Museum in Ebeltoft, Glasmuseet Ebeltoft, Denmark, in the international Young Glass competition 1997; award of the Foundation Jutty Cuny-Franz, Hentrich Glass Museum, Palace of Art in Düsseldorf, Germany, 1999; nomination for the award of the Latvian Academy of Fine Arts, 2011. Participation in 22 individual exhibitions, including: the Karkonosze Museum in Jelenia Góra and in over 100 collective exhibitions in Denmark, Germany, France, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Poland, Bulgaria, Belgium, Estonia, Turkey, Russia, Finland, Japan, Korea, USA, Azerbaijan, Hungary, Ukraine and Lithuania, including: Young Glass 1997, Museum of Glass in Ebeltoft; Women Glass Artists Today, Palace of Art in Düsseldorf, 2000; Coburger Glaspreis, Coburg, Germany, 2006; Kanazawa International Glass Exhibition, Japan, 2007; European Glass Context, Bornholm, Denmark, 2008. Prace w licznych muzealnych kolekcjach, m.in.
