The piece displays meticulous relief decoration, complemented by finely engraved floral motifs extending across its entire structure. On the front, the figure of Christ crucified is rendered with remarkable detail and applied over a richly ornamented background. At the upper section, the inscription INRI appears within an elaborately modelled decorative element. The base features a skull with crossed tibias, a symbol traditionally associated with Golgotha. The reverse presents particularly rich iconography dedicated to the Instruments of the Passion, including the ladder, the lance, the nails, the sponge, the cock and other symbolic elements, each precisely engraved and harmoniously distributed — reinforcing the devotional nature of the piece. The extremities end in stepped conical tips, a characteristic motif of Baroque and Neo-Baroque productions, supporting its chronological attribution to the 19th century.
