Cartier – Art Deco 14K gold case with lapis lazuli borders and enamelled interior, circa 1920–1940 Rectangular 14-karat gold case, the lid decorated with a bicolour geometric guilloché pattern in rose and yellow gold, elegantly framed by polished natural lapis lazuli borders. The refined Art Deco aesthetic is evident in the crisp geometry and luxurious material contrasts. The interior features a mirror with a gold frame and a covered compartment, set against an enamelled guilloché ground in soft hues of pink, green and gold, forming an intricate geometric motif typical of the period’s sophisticated decorative language. Marked ”Cartier” and ”14K”. Bears fineness guarantee marks but no Portuguese assay mark, exempt under Decree-Law 120/2017, 15 September – art. 2, no. 2, paragraph c.
