Work also received from Bank Leumi. Without a doubt, the cost of the framing is higher than the price of the painting. A drawing work with a rustic and nostalgic character, depicting a simple moment from everyday life in an open area. At the center of the composition stands a horse harnessed to a cart, while a hunched figure is engaged in her work nearby. A few single lines and measured spots of color manage to convey an entire world of work, routine, and an immediate connection to the earth. The artist chooses a free and restrained visual language, in which each line carries meaning. Instead of a detailed and precise description, one gets a sense of a quick impression of the landscape – a moment captured with a sensitive eye and a sure hand. The shades of blue, gray, and brown give the work a quiet and soft atmosphere, and emphasize the feeling of open space. Despite its simplicity, the work manages to convey a sense of a lifetime: manual labor, animals, a country cart, and a vast landscape stretching to the horizon. It is a poetic documentation of everyday reality, combining spontaneous drawing with warm, human observation.
