Twenty Of Seventy – Zvi Tolkovsky - Published to accompany the 2005 exhibition at the Jerusalem Artists House, Twenty Of Seventy documents the work of renowned Israeli artist Zvi Tolkovsky, curated by Raya Zomer. The catalogue features a selection of Tolkovsky's richly layered paintings, collages, and mixed-media assemblages created over more than two decades. Combining oil, tempera, paper, metal, and found materials, his works explore memory, history, symbolism, and personal narrative. An influential painter, printmaker, and longtime professor at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design, Tolkovsky is widely recognized as one of the key figures in contemporary Israeli art.
