Marcel Janco – The Finish Line: Drawings (Kav HaKetz: Rishumim) - An art album by Marcel Janco, a major figure of the Dada movement and an important Israeli artist. Published by Am Oved in 1981, the book was edited by Haim Be’er, Haim Gouri, and Avraham Yavin. The volume contains 28 reproductions and drawings accompanied by poetry. Created in 1940, the drawings powerfully document the horror, trauma, and pogroms suffered by the Jewish community in Bucharest, Romania, shortly before Janco immigrated to Mandatory Palestine. The book is both an artistic and historical document, combining art, memory, and personal testimony.
