The 100% cotton fabric features a baroque-style ornate scrollwork and floral pattern in teal, navy, red, and gold-tone. The piece is printed with the brand name in the border and retains its original manufacturer's adhesive label and presentation box. 17.5 x 17.5 inches. Celine was founded in Paris in 1945 and operated as a leather goods and accessories house before adding ready-to-wear. The vintage Celine Paris label, used prior to the house's creative direction changes in the 2010s, appears on many handkerchiefs, scarves, and small leather goods from the 1970s through the 1990s. Original packaging from Celine is retained with this lot, which is the preferred configuration for collectors and is increasingly difficult to find with pieces of this age.
