Vintage Gucci Floral and Fruit Silk Twill Scarf - Gucci silk twill scarf, circa 1970s-1980s. The design features a vibrant red ground with a central circular wreath of roses, daisies, and berries on a blue basketweave medallion, framed by a grey and white basketweave border. This piece is finished with hand-rolled edges and includes a printed Gucci script signature and a white fabric care label marked Gucci Seta 100% Silk Made in Italy. Approximately 34 inches by 34 inches. Gucci has produced silk scarves since the 1950s. The Flora pattern, originally created for Grace Kelly in 1966, is one of the most documented Gucci textile designs. Authentic Gucci scarves are printed on pure silk and carry the house name in the selvedge.
