Must de Cartier Burgundy and Cream Silk Scarf - Must de Cartier silk scarf, late 20th century. The square scarf features a burgundy-red central field with a repeating interlocking C logo medallion pattern, framed by a cream border containing three tiers of gold and silver-tone chain-link motifs and a solid burgundy outer edge. Constructed with a hand-rolled hem and a printed must de Cartier signature in the lower corner. Includes an original fabric label indicating 100 percent silk and manufacture in Italy. Approximately 34 inches x 34 inches. Cartier was founded in Paris in 1847 and has served as official jeweler to royalty across Europe. Must de Cartier pieces, introduced in 1973, carry the full design language of the Cartier house and have become a collecting category in their own right.
