Bally Vintage Structured Flap Shoulder Bag Micro-Nylon and Patent Leather Black - A vintage Bally structured shoulder bag featuring a black micro-nylon body with tonal patent leather trim and straps. The front flap is adorned with a signature black patent leather shield housing a raised gold-tone B logo. The bag is designed with double thin patent leather shoulder straps and an exterior rear horizontal zippered pocket with a leather pull tab. The interior is lined in black fabric and contains one zippered pocket with an attached gold-tone BALLY metal plaque and a MADE IN ITALY fabric tag. This lot includes the original cream-colored Bally dust bag and a black branded hangtag. Approximately 10” W x 9.5” H x 3.5” D. Bally has been manufacturing leather goods in Switzerland since 1851 and is one of the oldest continuously operating leather luxury houses in Europe. The house's structured bags and totes from the 1980s and 1990s used full-grain leather and brass hardware that is heavier than what the current line carries, and earlier production pieces are consistently undervalued at auction.
