The larger piece features stylized gold foliate scrollwork on a dark red enamel ground, while the smaller brooch displays a variegated autumnal palette of red, orange, and green enamel. Both incorporate horizontal pin stems with rotating safety catches. The larger brooch is stamped © MMA 1985 on the reverse.
