Vintage Louis Vuitton Monogram Canvas Alzer 70 Hardside Suitcase - This vintage Louis Vuitton Alzer 70 hardside suitcase is constructed from the brand's signature monogram coated canvas with lozine leather trim and reinforced brass hardware. The large rectangular trunk features protective brass corner plates and a single reinforced leather handle. The case is secured by a central brass locking mechanism and two flanking side latches. The central lock plate is inscribed on the left with LOUIS VUITTON and on the right with MADE IN FRANCE. The serial number 1060213 is stamped below the keyhole, and a circular R mark is located above. The flip-down latch features a stylized LV logo. Numerous brass rivets throughout the handle attachments and trim are embossed with the LOUIS VUITTON name. Included with the suitcase is a traditional leather luggage tag and a commemorative oval brass tag from the S.C. Department of Education, which reads IT TAKES A COMMUNITY TO EDUCATE.
