Vintage Cartier Vendome Trinity Aviator Sunglasses - A pair of vintage Cartier Vendome Trinity sunglasses in the aviator style, circa 1983. The gold-plated metal frames feature a double bridge design with a distinctive tri-band detail at the bridge and hinges, displaying alternating yellow gold and silver-toned metal finishes. The eyewear is fitted with green-tinted lenses and dark brown acetate temple tips. The underside of the bridge is incised with the mark © 1983 Cartier along with the size markings 62 and 12. A serial number is incised on the top bar of the bridge. The interior of one temple arm is marked Cartier PARIS MADE IN FRANCE, while the other arm is marked with the length 140. Both the adjustable composite nose pads and the exterior hinge hardware feature the Cartier interlocking C logo.
