Hermes L'Hiver en Poste Cashmere and Silk Scarf by Philippe Ledoux - An Hermes large square scarf featuring the L'Hiver en Poste (Winter Mail) design by artist Philippe Ledoux. The composition is rendered on a blend of 65 percent cashmere and 35 percent silk with a visible herringbone twill weave. The central oval vignette depicts The Bull and Mouth Western Coach Office at Regent's Circus, Piccadilly, while horizontal bands above and below show horse-drawn coaches traveling through a snowy 19th-century landscape. The design is framed by an inner gray and black plaid border and an outer dusty rose border. Decorative carriage wheel motifs are placed in each corner. The piece features the printed signature LEDOUX in the lower left corner and HERMES-PARIS in the lower right. An ornate cartouche at the bottom center contains the script L'Hiver en Poste. A fabric care label is attached to the edge stating the material content and that it was made in France. 35 inches x 35 inches.
