Hermes Feux de Route Silk 90cm Scarf with Box - This silk 90cm square scarf features the Feux de Route pattern, designed by artist Caty Latham for the house of Hermes and first issued in 1971. The design depicts an assortment of detailed 18th and 19th-century carriage and coach lanterns in shades of cream, gold, and celadon green. The central motif shows the front of a carriage with a prominent lamp, surrounded by various other lantern styles. The design is set against a deep red ground and is framed by a gray and white lattice-work border. The scarf is constructed with hand-rolled hems. Visible markings include HERMES-PARIS printed on the lower left field, (c) HERMES near the border, and the title FEUX DE ROUTE in a banner at the bottom center. The scarf is accompanied by an original orange Hermes storage box marked with the 24, Faubourg Saint-Honore address and a small square care instruction card. Dimensions: approximately 35 x 35 inches.
