Platinum Black Opal and Diamond Tie Tac - Platinum tie tac featuring a central oval cabochon black opal with vibrant play-of-color surrounded by a halo of round brilliant-cut diamonds. The decorative head is secured by a squeeze-release clutch with a safety chain and buttonhole bar manufactured by B.A. Ballou and Co. The reverse of the head is incised with Pt900 metal purity and gemstone carat weights. Decorative head approximately 10mm by 9mm. Total extended length approximately 80mm. Opal weight approximately 0.50 carats. Diamond total weight approximately 0.15 carats. 1.8 grams.
