Hermès Silk Scarf La Promenade de Longchamps by Philippe Ledoux - A vintage silk twill scarf from Hermès Paris featuring the La Promenade de Longchamps design by artist Philippe Ledoux, originally issued in 1965. The composition centers on a cartouche inscribed LA PROMENADE DE LONGCHAMPS, surrounded by three concentric rings of detailed illustrations. These illustrations depict various 19th-century horse-drawn carriages, riders, and figures in period dress. The central field is an ivory tone, while the wide outer border is royal blue. The corners of the border are decorated with golden-yellow acanthus scrolls, cornucopias, and stylized horse heads. The scarf is finished with hand-rolled and stitched edges.
