Platinum Sapphire and Diamond Halo Tie Tack with Safety Chain - This tie tack features a classic oval cluster halo design. The central stone is one oval-cut blue sapphire measuring approximately 4.5mm by 3.5mm. It is surrounded by a halo of ten small round brilliant-cut diamonds. The decorative pin head is crafted in platinum. The reverse of the setting features a horizontal bar stamped with Pt 900 and a Pm mark within a small square, indicating 90 percent platinum purity. The head is attached to a pointed post that fits into a mechanical clutch back. The clutch is stamped U.S.A. and PATENTED with partially illegible numerical characters. A white metal curb link safety chain connects the clutch back to a flat, oval-shaped bar intended for a shirt buttonhole. Pin Head: Approximately 8mm x 7mm Overall Length: Approximately 65mm.
