The tie is constructed from 100 percent silk and features a dense, repeating geometric pattern of interlocking carabiners and climbing gear in light blue, royal blue, and grey on a navy ground. The reverse of the wide end contains a woven label with the HERMES PARIS logo, signature horse and carriage icon, and an illustration of a rock climber. A printed label on the interior fold reads MADE IN FRANCE, 645960 TA, and SILK 100% SOIE. The piece is hand-finished with the signature orange silk tack stitch.
