Hermes Aux Champs Silk Scarf - Vintage Hermes silk twill scarf in the Aux Champs pattern, designed by Cathy Latham and first issued in 1970. The design features a central equestrian horse collar framing a delicate bouquet of wildflowers including daisies and thistles. This central motif is surrounded by an intricate arrangement of harness straps detailed with gold-tone studs, rings, and buckles. Each corner is embellished with illustrated decorative tassels and individual letters from the brand name. The scarf features a deep chocolate brown border and a cream-colored ground with hand-rolled and hand-stitched hems. Printed markings include the pattern title aux champs on a decorative banner within the illustration and a cartouche at the bottom center reading HERMES-PARIS flanked by copyright symbols.
