Hermes Washington's Carriage Silk Twill Carre 90 Scarf with Box - Hermes silk scarf, titled Washington's Carriage, was designed by artist Caty Latham and first issued in 1978. The scarf is constructed from silk twill with hand-rolled edges. The design features a central medallion illustrating George Washington's carriage, surrounded by a navy blue field decorated with four large stylized carriage wheels in the corners. The pattern incorporates ornate rococo-style scrolls, lanterns, and American bald eagle motifs. The scarf is finished with a wide red border and a secondary teal border within the design.
