Hermes Les Merises Silk Carre Scarf by Jean-Jacques Jacquelot - This authentic Hermes silk scarf, titled Les Merises (The Wild Cherries), was designed by artist Jean-Jacques Jacquelot. The composition features a central arrangement of various bird species, including bluebirds and a cardinal, perched among lush green cherry tree branches laden with bright red cherries. The central motif is set against a vibrant yellow ground, which is bordered by a decorative fringe of individual cherries on stems. The entire design is framed by a wide orange border. Several identifying marks are present: the title Les merises is printed in a red scalloped cloud at the top center border, and the brand name Hermes-Paris appears in a matching red cloud at the bottom center border. A copyright mark reading © HERMES is printed on a green leaf, and the artist signature Jacquelot is located near the foliage in the lower right quadrant. The scarf is made of 100% silk twill with hand-rolled hems. A white fabric care label is attached to the edge, providing fabric content and care instructions in both French and English. Dimensions: approximately 35 inches by 35 inches.
