The diamond is set within a six-prong basket mounting composed of 850-purity platinum. The pendant is suspended from a platinum box chain, also referred to as a Venetian link chain, which is equipped with a spring ring clasp and a sliding adjustment bead. The reverse of the pendant is hallmarked Pt850 and 1.02, alongside a small stylized heart or two-lobed leaf pictorial mark. The clasp tag is further stamped Pt850.
