Bidspirit auction | Hermes Grand Apparat Silk Scarf
Hermes Grand Apparat Silk Scarf in Pink and Lavender - A square Hermes silk scarf featuring the Grand Apparat design, first created by artist Jacques Eudel in 1962. The pattern illustrates horses in elaborate ceremonial harnesses and tack, arranged within ornate golden medallions and a central rectangular frame. These vignettes are connected by braided purple rope motifs set against a lavender-pink ground with accents of plum, gold, and white. The scarf is constructed from 100 percent silk twill and finished with characteristic hand-rolled edges. Visible markings include the pattern name GRAND APPARAT within the central vignette and the brand signature HERMES - PARIS at the bottom center. A copyright symbol (c) HERMES is printed on a golden detail in the design. A black fabric care label is stitched to one corner and specifies MADE IN FRANCE, SOIE 100% / SILK, and DRY CLEAN ONLY along with standard care symbols. 88 cm x 88 cm (34.6 in x 34.6 in).
