First Edition “Maggid Dvarav L’Yaakov”, First Published Sefer from the Maggid of Mezritch; Koritz, 1781 Maggid Dvarav L’Yaakov containing novellae from the Maggid of Mezritch, organized and published by Rabbi Shlomo Lutzker, a relative and leading disciple of the Maggid and author of Dibras Shlomo. In his famous introduction to the sefer, Rabbi Shlomo Lutzker gives us a glimpse of the Maggid's greatness :     “...Who can describe the great praise and holy virtues of the rabbi... [who performed] wondrous miracles and whose prayers and words were heard; G-d would decree and he would annul... He was humble and the fear of G-d was always upon him... .” EXTREMELY RARE  This first edition was published in Koritz, 1781.
