Autographed Letter of Torah Novellae from Rabbi Peretz Zable Eiger, Cousin of Rabbi Akiva Eiger; 1831 Handwritten and signed letter of Torah novellae from Rabbi Peretz Zable Eiger, cousin of Rabbi Akiva Eiger and author of Ateres Paz V'Rimon Peretz. The letter is addressed to Rabbi Tzvi Binyamin Auerbach , ab”d of Halberstadt and author of Nachal Eshkol.  The reverse side of the letter includes a draft response from the recipient, Rabbi Tzvi Binyamin Auerbach. Rabbi Peretz Zable Eiger (1768–1843) served as the ab”d of Braunschweig. He was the son of Rabbi Yehuda Leib Eiger, ab”d of Halberstam, son of the first Rabbi Akiva Eiger, ab”d of Pressburg and author of Mishnas D’Rabbi Akiva.
