Joint Letter of Blessings from the Holy Brothers, the Admorim of Rachmastrivka; Jerusalem, 1938
"… a year that is good and successful and happy and adorned with all kinds of good… A year of peace and quiet and security in all matters… May they raise their offspring with much nachas and enjoyment, and may G-d summon their proper matches soon for their sons and daughters. We are davening for them and for all of Klal Yisrael, for salvation and a complete redemption soon..."
Signed letter of blessing from the holy brothers, the Admorim of Rachmastrivka. The letter is written on a joint letterhead from the two Admorim, and includes their joint seal. The two Admorim each signed their names separately.
Rabbi Avraham Dov (1865-1945) and
Rabbi David (1872-1951) of Rachmastrivka led the Chassidic court in full partnership. They held reception together, read kvitlach together and even held tisch together. They inherited this practice from their father, Rabbi Menachem Nachum, son of Rabbi Yochanan of Rachmastrivka, who similarly led alongside his brother, Rabbi Zev of Rachmastrivka.
